Reckless Abadonment

"I have but one desire now- to live a life of reckless abandon for my Lord, putting all my energy and strength into it."-Ed McCully

Reckless-marked by boldness, disregard of possible consequences or danger, adventuresome, brave,
not easily influenced as a person

Abandon-to yield (oneself), forsake, to leave completely, surrender,a voluntary decision to give something one would prefer to keep.

Romans 12:1-2
"I beseech you therefore brethren,by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service.
2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

  1. Amen to that! Live your life pleasing the Lord and none other. You are a precious young lady and I am so thankful you have chosen to be set apart from the world and those who choose the world. With all of the changes that have taken place in our world and our surroundings I appreciate young ladies like yourself who choose to follow Christ and are not intimidated and influenced by those around you. It's easy to feel comfortable in our world of homeschooling and church friendships, but be aware that sometimes even those influences can be misleading. Keep your eyes on Christ. Love you, K! :D
