Fellowship of the Unashamed

So tonight I was reading a book "One thing you can't do in Heaven" by Mark Cahill, and in the book I found this i guess you would call it a poem, or article. Anyways I've seen it before, and thought I would post it. Here it is.

Fellowship of the Unashamed

"I am part of the "Fellowship of the Unashamed." The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I won't look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, and my future is secure. I'm finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tame visions, mundane talking, cheap giving, and dwarfed goals.

My pace is set, my gait is fast, my goal is Heaven, my road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions few, my Guide reliable, my mission clear. I won't give up, back up, let up or shut up, until I've preached up, prayed up, paid up, stored up, and stayed up for the cause of Christ. I must go until He returns, give until I drop, preach until all know, and work until He comes. And when He comes to get His own, He will have no problem recognizing me. My colors will be clear. "For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ." Romans 1:16

Ohh my, my! Long time no blog post...

Yes. I've realized the fact that I haven't blogged lately. I've been kinda busy with different things. And I don't really have much to say today. Other than...

C.I starts tomorrow. I'm totally excited about these next four days, and looking forward to how God's going to work! I think this year's program is going to be amazing!
Here's the verse we're doing

Psalm 34:1-8
1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed/
6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delieverth them.
8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him."

After last year, I should know not to wait till the last minute to memorize the verses. But then again why break tradition ;P haha. Well I really should start getting stuff ready for this weekend. I need to find a light jacket too, cuz boy was it cold in that building last year! I'll try to update on how it went sometime next week. Also I ask if you would please be praying for all the staff, team leaders & assistants and also the children that will be attending the program! Thanks so much :)
Hope all y'all have a wonderful day! God bless! :)

A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23

"We may rest assured that He will never expect us or ask us to face more than we can stand(1Cor 10:13) But what He does expose us to will strengthen and fortify our faith and confidence in His control." ~ W. Phillip Keller, in A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23
